A Christmas Card to Your Leaders

As you send Christmas cards away to family and friends, consider sending one to your MP, MLA, MPP, or Mayor. Elected officials have tough jobs. They work long and hard and yet face scrutiny for almost everything they do. Lets not just send an email or letter when we are upset about something. Instead, encourage them with a card that speaks to the hope and joy found in the birth of our Saviour.
What should you write them? Let him or her know that you appreciate their work on your behalf, that you pray for them, and that you believe they have been given their authority by God and therefore are entrusted with a big responsibility to govern justly and rightly.
