This May, ARPA Canada will host our signature event, the 4th biennial God & Government conference in Ottawa. We will welcome delegates from local ARPA chapters in BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario from May 5-7. This year’s conference has been planned at the same time as the annual March for Life (May 8) and most delegates are choosing to stay for this incredible experience as well. If you are part of a local ARPA group and have not yet registered for this conference, take note of some of the events scheduled:

Monday evening: Delegates arrive and check in at our downtown Ottawa hotel.

Tuesday: Begin the day with breakfast, devotions and orientation before heading to Parliament Hill to meet with MPs and Senators, Cabinet Ministers and staffers (meetings booked by delegates). You can also tour Parliament and the Supreme Court, attend question period or sit in on various parliamentary committee meetings. Tuesday evening will include a reception with MPs and Senators in the beautiful Chateau Laurier, featuring a speech on Restorative Justice by Dr. Jannes Smith of the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary.

Wednesday: ARPA National Conference with a keynote address on Sphere Sovereignty by the Honourable Jason Kenney, Canada’s Minister of Employment and Social Development and Minister for Multiculturalism, media training from Andrea Mrozek, Dragon’s Den featuring ARPA National staff, break-out sessions – and more!

For those staying for the annual March for Life, join us for our Reformed Prayer Service, co-sponsored by Jubilee Canadian Reformed Church, at 10am, with a message by Tim Challies and pro-life training with Mike Schouten and André Schutten before heading to Parliament Hill to march with thousands of pro-life Canadians.
