Both the little community of Carman and the bigger city of Winnipeg gave an encouraging welcome to ARPA Canada at two recent events on January 21st and 22nd. The goal of these events was to introduce ARPA Canada to these communities but also to kick start local groups if there was interest. A good crowd came out in Carman and every indication seems to be that there will be more than enough interest in starting a local group there. Mr. Terry V. will be sending out a notice in the church bulletin shortly to turn this interest into an active local presence. Likewise, Winnipeg church members came out in excellent numbers (possibly an ARPA Canada record) and with enthusiasm. Under the capable direction of Will G and Mark D, the once-dormant Winnipeg ARPA has officially restarted.
We would like to thank all those who helped make these events possible: the local organizers, those who provided coffee, the sound technicians, the families who opened their homes to us, and the many who came out and actively participated.
