Sexuality is a gift from God, to be used for His glory. Of all gifts, perhaps this one has been the most misused and perverted since the Fall into sin. This is apparent in the way that our Parliament and courts have dealt with sexuality as well. We have an obligation to show the world what a blessing sexuality can be when it is used in conformity with God’s intentions – lovingly between one man and one woman who are committed to each other for life in marriage.

Update: Read this report from PEACE Hamilton which argues that "Premier Dalton McGuinty’s withdrawal of the Sexual Health Curriculum is a fraudulent political tactic designed to provide a sense of security for parents." In an about-face Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty is backing down from plans to implement a new sex education curriculum targeting students in the province as early as Grade 1. "It's become pretty obvious to us that we should give this a serious rethink," McGuinty told reporters Thursday at a surprise press conference in London, Ontario. The Premier has promised more consultation providing a possible opportunity for local ARPA groups to make their voice heard on what should and should not be taught in Ontario's classrooms.

21 Apr 2010 New Ontario Sex Education Curriculum Targets Eight-Year Olds

Update: This plan has been put on hold after strong opposition from Ontario parents. Stay aware, as the effort to promote alternative sexual lifestyles will continue. Defended by Premier Dalton McGuinty, the Ontario Government is pressing ahead with controversial plans to implement a new sex education curriculum targeting students in the province as early as Grade 1. The new curriculum imposes instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation beginning with students in Grade 3, masturbation in Grade 6 and oral and anal sex at age 12. The Premier confirms the province's publicly funded Catholic schools will not be exempt from the proposed curriculum, a possible threat to privately-funded faith-based schools as well.
