National Post, Sept 13, 2010 OTTAWA — Canadians disgusted by the political antics of question period have a champion in the House of Commons. Conservative backbench MP Michael Chong has proposed reforms to the daily 45-minute session to make it more respectable and productive and to turn it away from what he says it has become — a spectacle resembling how gladiators fought for the bloodthirsty crowds in the Roman Colosseum.
