09 Sep 2011 Defining what makes us ‘human beings’
National Post, Sept 8 2011: I think I will defer to my own reasoning ability with the definition of a human being: a member of the species commonly known as homo sapiens, including all such beings from the moment of conception until natural death. If we were all to take Peter Singer’s philosophy to heart, I hazard to guess there would be a lot fewer of us on planet Earth.
