The annual ARPA Fall Tour is underway. The tour started yesterday in Winnipeg, and there's 20 stops planned before it wraps up on October 20th in Neerlandia, Alberta. The theme of this year's tour is "Who is Sovereign", and ARPA Executive Director Mark Penninga says a lot of work has gone into making the presentations engaging and practical. Jonathon Van Maren, Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform There's a national education tour coming up this summer on pro-life apologetics. It's put together by the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform. The Centre's Jonathon Van Maren says there are about a dozen stops planned for Ontario and Alberta between now and mid-August. Twenty-nine young people – mostly 11th and 12th graders from across the country – gathered in Ottawa for three days earlier this month for training in politics, worldview, and apologetics. Their experiences and impressions of the conference are now documented in an online video. ARPA staff spent Friday and Saturday last week at the annual Manning Networking Conference in Ottawa. Preparations continue for ARPA Canada’s first God and Government Youth Conference in Ottawa. Grassroots engagement manager Colin Postma, says there were a total of 44 applications from across the country for 28 positions. Notifications will now go out to the people who’ve been selected.
