Office of the Ontario Chief Coroner MAiD Death Review Committee Reports
The province of Ontario has implemented an oversight system for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) through the Office of the Chief Coroner (OCC). As part of this system, the OCC reviews MAiD deaths to evaluate compliance and make improvements. In October, 2024, the OCC released reports pertaining to complex medical conditions and navigating vulnerability.
