Court Denies Ontario Churches’ Charter Challenge.

Trinity Bible Chapel and the Church of God in Aylmer challenged the Ontario government’s Covid-19 restrictions on worship. Both churches assert that the Ontario government violated their charter rights. ARPA Canada was able to intervene in this case and present the court with arguments referencing institutional pluralism (or sphere sovereignty) and compound charter violations.
