According to cbc.ca, long-time euthanasia advocate and MP Francine Lalonde is suffering from bone cancer that is spreading rapidly. As a result, she will not be running in the next election. ARPA readers will remember her name because she has introduced legislation a few times proposing to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicde. Please keep her in your prayers.
