The Foundations Conference exists to equip thoughtful Christians with a deeper understanding of how faith shapes public life, exploring what it means to pursue justice, order, and the common good in a culture that often misunderstands or marginalizes biblical convictions.
We aim to encourage our audience not necessarily just to do more, but to think more biblically, and stand more confidently in the public square as those entrusted with a gospel that speaks to all of life.

Kevin Flatt is professor of history and Associate Dean of Humanities at Redeemer University. He teaches courses covering several areas of modern history in Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. He is a research fellow of the Institute for Religion, Culture, and Societal Futures at the University of Waterloo.
Josh Wood is the Executive Director at Them Before Us. He holds a Master’s Degree in Humanitarian and Disaster Leadership from Wheaton College and a Bachelor’s in Cross-Cultural Ministry from Messiah University. Josh has spent his career in nonprofit leadership and church ministry, focused on serving others and solving problems.

Nancy Pearcey is a bestselling author and Christian thinker whose seven books—including Total Truth and Love Thy Body—have been translated into 20 languages and earned multiple awards. Once an agnostic, she studied under Francis Schaeffer and now serves as Professor and Scholar in Residence at Houston Christian University, holding the Elizabeth and John Gibson Endowed Chair in Apologetics.
Stockwell Day is a former Leader of the Opposition in Canada’s Parliament and leader of the Canadian Alliance Party. He has served in high profile cabinet positions in both federal and provincial (Alberta) government, responsible for government policy on labour, finance, trade, public safety, and more. He is a regular commentator on current events and host of the daily podcast Day2Day News.
